Engineering, architecture and environmental consulting firm GHD has appointed Blair Shackleton as market leader – water for Western Australia.
Mr Shackleton is a chartered chemist with more than 33 years’ experience in the water and power industries, including plant design, process monitoring, troubleshooting, operations support and project management roles.
He has led the design of municipal potable supplies, industrial and power station water systems, and large desalination plants.
“As part of our connected global team, Blair will boost GHD’s position as a leader in sustainable solutions across every part of the water cycle,” GHD’s Australian market Lleader – water Chris Hertle said.
Western Australia manager Craig Walkemeyer said GHD would benefit from Mr Shackleton’s “extensive experience in supporting utility, urban development, agriculture and resources clients in Western Australia”.
Mr Shackleton was formerly principal consultant with engineering firm PDC Group.
