Law firm Baker McKenzie has appointed Meredith Gibbs as special counsel to its to environment and climate change practice, amidst strong growth.
Ms Baker is an environmental, water and climate law specialist who was most recently partner at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, and prior to that special counsel at Ashurst. She has acted for a range of corporate clients in the energy, resources, agriculture and telecommunications sectors, together with water corporations, government departments and other statutory bodies.
She has been named in Australian Financial Review’s Best Lawyers for government practice, natural resources law, planning & environment, climate change law and energy law.
