Action Sustainability is ramping up its capabilities to engage with the property sector with the appointment of former Cundall principal Alistair Coulstock as a director of the business.
Mr Coulstock will be heading up property and infrastructure side of the business for the Australia Pacific region.

Mark Lyster, one of the founding directors of the firm, said the aim is to broaden the focus on sustainable procurement and supply chains to working on the “front end” processes that influence the design and construction of a development.

He said since launching the consultancy in October last year, it has been successful in winning new work and building relationships.

The traction that’s been gained overall has “reaffirmed” his initial view that there was a niche for a boutique, purpose-driven organisation like Action Sustainability.

The number of people in the Australian business has now grown to seven, he said, and the firm had struck strategic partnerships with a number of similar, purpose driven organisations.

Mr Coulstock’s appointment follows the departure of co-founding director Danielle Mulder for the UK and who has joined Action Sustainability in the UK.
