The City of Sydney is a leading environmental performer. This is an exciting, unique and career changing opportunity to make your mark at this premier local government organisation. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, highly motivated and experienced professional who can work collaboratively with Council business units to deliver environmental outcomes that support the City’s vision for Sustainable Sydney 2030.
You will manage the City’s environmental management system and environmental projects that address organisational priorities. You will build organisational capacity and capability that facilitates a decentralised model of environmental management. The role will ensure the delivery of high quality and timely internal and external environmental reporting to inform our community and facilitate continuous improvement within the organisation.
You will hold tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline and have a proven track record in management, system development, sustainability reporting, programs and/or project delivery. Environmental management experience in capital works and/or planning would be beneficial. You will have excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
