In this position you will lead the development, delivery and continual improvement of Council greenhouse gas emission and energy management policies, processes and technologies to achieve ambitious Net Zero corporate and community emission reduction targets. You will also support the assessment and treatment of climate related risks and support resilience actions, delivering innovative and leading projects across Waverley Council and Local Government Area. 

You will have expertise in developing businesses cases, technical specifications, electricity management, energy and emissions monitoring, along with great interpersonal skills, to ensure continual improvement in energy management across Council’s portfolio of building, public lighting, street lighting and renewable energy assets and procurement.

You will possess a proven track record in data analytics, project management, contract and risk management and an ability to effectively manage change.
