Floth’s Fortitude Valley headquarters in Brisbane just keep in getting better, with the building achieving a Platinum award through the WELL v2 Building Standard.

The latest version of WELL from the International WELL Building Institute is still in pilot form.

Last year, 69 Robertson Street became the first in the state to be certified through the federal government’s National Carbon Offset Standard for buildings (which has since been rebranded as Climate Active).

According to the engineering consultancy, its Brisbane home base was also the first to achieve a six-star NABERS Indoor Environment rating in 2016, the first six-star Green Star Design and As Built v1.1 certified rating in the country and the first to publicly adopt ASBEC’s Zero Carbon Standard Building definition.

The building sports a highly efficient design and rooftop solar (that generates 28 per cent of its energy needs). A commitment to 100 per cent “greenpower” offsets remaining operational emissions.
