Speakers

Sasha Titchkosky is the co-founder and CEO of Koskela

Making Sustainable: how to make a real change (the hard way) and figure out a way to do business differently. Sasha will explore the nuts and bolts of building an accountable and truly sustainable Australian business, and how to overcome the challenges of growing as a B-Corp.

Alison Covington, Founder & Managing Director of Good360 Australia

Alison will discuss the missing piece of the sustainability puzzle that’s never spoken about (because businesses are too embarrassed to)! What do we do with the billions of unsold clothes, household appliances, and business supplies each year? Businesses don’t want to talk about the stock that doesn’t sell. But it can do so much good if it is diverted into the right places. Think crisis housing, or people who’ve lost everything in floods.

Pete Brennan, Heaps Normal – Award-winning Entrepreneur & Brand Expert

Beer is embedded in Australian Culture. From the famous 1908s ads of sweaty men in singlets refreshing their thirst, and iconic cinema, Beer — and alcohol more generally — has been seen as something almost synonymous with our culture, for better or worse (often it’s worse). Heaps Normal wanted to see if they could make a real change. And made a really good beer without the hangover.

Peter Brennan is an award-winning designer and entrepreneur with a career tracking over 20 years across three continents. He is the cofounder and Head of Brand at non-alcoholic beer company, Heaps Normal, that less than two years after launching is Australia’s #1 selling non-alcoholic drink with a multi-million valuation. Pete specialises in building and designing meaningful consumer & technology brands. His work has featured in Wired, Mashable, Monocle, CNN and TechCruch amongst others. A designer and brand strategist by trade, Pete has lead Heaps Normal to win numerous accolades including two Telstra Best of Business Awards, a Grand Prix Pause Fest Award, and being named by Interbrand as a Breakthrough Brand in 2021.
