Mirvac has held a topping off ceremony for its new 664 Collins Street development in Melbourne.
Situated at Docklands, the building will seek a 5 Star Green Star Design, a five star NABERS Energy rating and will feature data collecting technology that will help to understand how efficiencies and effectiveness can be improved over time.
The event was attended by is major tenants Pitcher Partners and ExxonMobil, as well as the building’s architecture firm Grimshaw Architects associate principal Damon Van Horne.
Pitcher Partners managing partner John Brazzale said the Collins Street location was ideal for employees.
“Sitting at the nexus of Melbourne CBD’s major transport hub, allowing easy access to adjacent amenity, the building is a vibrant, connected environment that will enable us to move to the next level of client service and allow us to create an exceptional workplace for our staff,” he said.
The site is due for completion in 2018.
