Lendlease will stump up five per cent of the deposit for first home buyers purchasing apartments in projects in Melbourne’s Docklands and Southern Cross precincts.

As part of the “First Place” initiative, Lendlease will contribute five per cent to first home buyers’ deposits on apartments at Victoria Harbour at 883 and 889 Collins Street and No. 1 Collins Wharf, and Melbourne Quarter’s East Tower.

“First Place is helping keep alive the great Aussie dream of owning your own place,” Lendlease Property head of apartments Ben Christie said.

“This is not a loan but a financing initiative to directly benefit first home buyers.

“Both precincts are world leading, sustainable communities, with the highest concentration of green buildings in Australia and a 6-star Green Star Communities rating, which is the highest sustainability accreditation available globally.”
