Brief: In the SMH on Tuesday, Total Environment Centre’s Jeff Angel pointed to an important study from the NSW Innovation and Productivity Council that showed the environmental goods and services sector in NSW had generated more jobs than the agriculture and mining sectors combined.

He said the “little publicised study” (covered by The Fifth Estate last month) is evidence that jobs needn’t come at the expense of the environment, and vice versa.
