Frasers Property Australia’s Life, Point Cook development west of Melbourne has been awarded a 5 Star Green Star Communities rating.
The development, 28km west of Melbourne CBD, is set to be completed in 2020 and will include 9.9 hectares of parks and open space, a saltwater lake wetland, and walking and bike paths.
Environmental features include recycled water for parks and reserves, initiatives promoting higher energy efficiency in the community’s homes, and a high standard build quality on the medium density site.
Frasers is also sponsoring weekday fitness camps in the area, with nearby facilities including a recreational sports centre with three ovals, eight tennis courts and three soccer pitches.
