14 November 2012 — WSP Built Ecology is expanding with two new appointments in WA and New Zealand.
Eugene O’Loughlin is now leading the WSP BE Perth team. Mr O’Loughlin, an engineer, has been with WSP for more than two years working on a number of benchmark projects including, most recently, the Perth Arena.
Prior to joining WSP, he worked with Buro Happold and Jacobs Engineering and was involved in the delivery of projects such as Palestra Transport for London Building, Arrow Head Quay Development in London and MGM Mirala Development in Riyadh in the Middle East.
Mr O’Loughlin’s role will now involve working with all members of design teams to produce strategic, integrated and low carbon emitting systems.
Meanwhile, Graham Gilleberg, a senior environmental consultant, has been chosen to lead the New Zealand Built Ecology team. Mr Gilleberg has moved from the US where he worked with at Buildings Research Establishment as a principal consultant in the sustainability team.
Mr Gilleberg has a diverse range of technical and project management skills in sustainable building design.
WSP Built Ecology also has operations in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and the United States.
