31 October 2012 — The Western Australian Government has gone to the market looking for proposals for up to 35,000sqm in the City of Stirling to accommodate the Department of Commerce as the anchor tenant, the Property Council of Australia’s WA chapter reports. The move is part of the next phase in the Government’s Office Accommodation Master Plan. This will see consolidation of office space in the Perth CBD and decentralisation of a number of agencies into metropolitan activity centres. One of the focuses of the expression of interest process is to identify interested parties to partner with the Government, to develop sustainable office accommodation solutions.
