24 July 2013 — The City of Moreland is after a climate change project officer and a transport engineer.
The first position is with the Environmentally Sustainable Development Unit and will lead the development of the city’s Community Climate Action Plan in collaboration with our key partners.
The CCAP will provide the strategic framework for how Moreland City Council and its key partners will work with and support the Moreland community (individuals, households, organisations, business and industry) to make significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions to meet our overall objective of a carbon neutral community by 2030.
Salary is from $73,000 to $80,000 with superannuation. It is a 10-month contact. Details: Victoria Hart on 9240 1264.
The transport engineer is offering a salary of between $61,000 and $70,000 plus super depending experience. It’s listed as a “great graduate opportunity”.
The position will identify, investigate and develop solutions for a range of traffic, parking, signage and road safety issues concerning our diverse community.
