18 December 2012 — The University of Technology, Sydney’s Institute for Sustainable Futures’ Transport Research Area is offering two continuing professional development short courses. Travel Planning will be held on 25 and 26 February. Travel Plans are site-specific transport strategies that aim to increase opportunities for using active transport – walking and cycling, public transport and innovative approaches to car travel such as carshare and car-pooling. The course uses a series of presentations and hands-on workshops to explore how transport networks and landuses combine to influence accessibility at both local and regional scales.
