Caroline Noller

6 July 2012 – Caroline Noller and Darren Vaux‘ new venture, The Footprint Company,  has appointed former GPT sustainability manager Tina Morrison as operations manager, as the company readies to officially launch its new sustainability and lifecycle analysis rating tool for property developments.

The company says the tool offers to “reduce the cost and complexity of assessing the sustainability performance of buildings, tenant fitouts and materials”, with calculations based on a “budget” of resources, so that a one planet rating equals a sustainable outcome.

GPT’s Rouse Hill Town Centre for instance achieves a 2.8 planet impact, a 32 per cent reduction against a 2004 baseline and GPTs West Keira Shopping Centre achieves a 2.7 planet impact, a 30 per cent reduction against current practice.

Ms Noller said GPT  was a “very key and very important client” as it was applying the calculator across its business.  Another recent client included Singapore based CapitaLand with more announcements expected soon.

Ms  Noller, who runs the technical side of the operation  is a former corporate social responsibility manager for GPT and Darren Vaux who handles business strategy for the company is developer whose projects include the Bobbin Head marina.
