2 October 2012 — “Sustainable Retrofitting of Commercial Buildings” edited by Dr Richard Hyde, Dr Nathan Groenhout, Francis Barram and Dr Ken Yeang will be launched on 9 October. The latest publication by leaders in sustainable architecture in warm climates, presents a theory-based, practice-support methodology to deal with sustainable retrofitting opportunities for existing commercial buildings in warm climates using bioclimatic design as the basis. It examines how the challenges of climate change with regard to both mitigation and adaption strategies can be addressed. The launch will be held at The Hearth, Wilkinson Building, 148 City Rd, Darlington from 5.30pm.
