26 September 2011 – Stockland’s latest corporate responsibility and sustainability report, recently released online, includes promises to sharpen sustainability measures in its business unit plans, linking these measures to staff performance.

The report also details development of an indigenous relations strategy to build positive relationships with Indigenous communities among other initiatives including plans to increase the percentage of women in management roles, in line with its target of 40 per cent by 2015 – broadening its diversity policy.

It will start reporting against greenhouse gas emissions targets for its residential and retirement living business units and prepare adaptation plans for those commercial properties likely to be most at risk to impact from weather and a changing climate.
