26 June 2013 — Sam McLean has been appointed to the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage as senior team leader for commercial buildings and will manage the NABERS program.
Ms McLean has worked in the state and commonwealth public sector for 10 years and joined the Office of Environment and Heritage in January 2011.
She has previously worked as the senior manager of sustainable government developing programs in partnership with government agencies to improve the energy efficiency of government buildings.
Ms McLean has a strong background in both sustainability programs and analytical tool development, having previously managed the team responsible for strategy and annalysis across the Office of Environment and Heritage’s sustainability programs.
She has a PhD in environmental studies.
