28 August 2012 — Napier & Blakeley, which recently launched its NB Verdigris to specialise in sustainable retrofit consultancy, environmental upgrade agreements and sourcing funding related to these projects, recently appointed two new staff and promoted another two.
The company has promoted Peter Guerra to manager of tax business in its Sydney office, made Raymond Yen an associate, also in Sydney, and appointed Ricky Thien and Jonathan McLaughlin in the Melbourne and Sydney offices respectively.
Mr Guerra has been with the company for the past nine years and has worked with clients including Brookfield, Westfield, TAHL Holdings, Arcadia Funds, Goodman Group, ING and AMP.
The launch of NB Verdigris followed the launch of Verdigris Capital in 2010, which was designed to assist in sourcing finance for commercial upgrades under the EUA platform. (The Fifth Estate will soon publish a comprehensive ebook on EUAs)
Napier & Blakeley joint managing directors Peter Frith and Alastair Walker said that Verdigris Capital had managed a large number of Green Building Fund applications and projects on behalf of clients including among more than 40 commercial sustainable upgrade projects in recent times.
The new company, Verdigris Capital, blends Napier & Blakeley’s Sustainable Property Solutions and Project Management teams under a single entity.
