BRIEF – 27 April 2010 – The Urban Taskforce today released a report produced by BIS Shrapnel that forecast Sydney will fall behind Melbourne in population measures by 2037.

The Going Nowhere report said Melbourne’s population was projected to increase to 5.7 million by 2036. In 2001 Sydney had  660,000 more people than Melbourne.
