15 August 2013 — Geoff Dutaillis, former chief operating officer of Babcock & Brown Wind and its spin-off Infigen Energy, has been announced as Lend Lease’s new group head of sustainability.
Mr Dutaillis initially commenced his career at Lend Lease in 1986, where he worked for close to 19 years in senior roles, before moving on to Babcock & Brown as chief operating officer of the wind energy business, and then on to its Infigen Energy offshoot.
He will commence back with Lend Lease next month, reporting to group COO Dan Labbad.
“I am very pleased to welcome Geoff back to Lend Lease,” Mr Labbad said. “Sustainability is a key operating principle at Lend Lease and an integral part of our culture, and Geoff’s appointment is a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to this area.”
Lend Lease this year had its Barangaroo South development in Sydney, Victoria Harbour project in Melbourne and Elephant & Castle project in London recognised by the C40 Cities Climate Positive Development Program for sustainability.
“Geoff will build on this work supporting the evolution of our sustainability platform globally,” Mr Labbad said.
