18 September 2012 — Sustainable Energy Association of Australia’s new chief executive is Kirsten Rose. Chair Sean Webb said Ms Rose was “a talented individual with solid commercial skills and passionate about sustainability”. Ms Webb said former CEO and current board member Professor Ray Wills would continue to offer his knowledge and skills to SEA through his new firm, Duda&Wills. Ms Rose has been working in the sustainable energy area for several years with her current role as the business development manager at SEA member business Carbon Neutral. Prior to joining Carbon Neutral, she was running her own sustainability consulting business, One Green Step, also a SEA member business. Ms Rose, a senior business leader and entrepreneur with board-level general management and strategy consulting experience spanning more than 20 years and who has worked in the US, UK, Europe and Australia, starts on 15 October.
