13 November 2012 — San Francisco Urban Green Energy, an exhibitor at GreenBuild, has installed 14 wind turbines at Lincoln Financial Field, the home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

The turbines are located in two sets of seven at opposing ends of the field and connected to the stadium’s grid, rolling back the energy meter at night and slowing it during the day.

UBE has projects in more than 70 countries, including installations for several Fortune 100 companies.

Spokeswoman Chelsea Petrozzo said UGE puts “users in control of their energy source by deploying hybrid wind, solar and storage solutions for use in the enterprise market, from commercial facilities to telecom towers in all corners of the world”.

“UGE’s technology advantage includes proprietary wind technology, site planning and deployment, power electronics, and remote monitoring and control systems, which are combined into best in class solutions at the nexus of energy cost, security and sustainability.”
