28 February 2011 – According to official figures 1300 people are signed to attend Green Cities at the six star Green Star Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre over the next three days.
That’s a massive jump of the few hundred that attended the first iterations of this industry’s leading event.
On stage Monday and Tuesday will be a long list of star attractions including Sally Dominguez, an Aussie who now resides in the US after inventing an amazing sounding thin water tank that doubles as thermal mass, and is a judge on ABC TV’s New Inventors, the incendiary (at times) Bjorn Lomborg (will he/won’t he advocate for climate action?), Jeb Brugman of The Next Practice, Esther Sternberg, medical researcher on the healing power of place and Roger Platt of the USGBCA…among many more. We’ll keep you posted.
