14 August 2012 — Green Fashion forums are being held in Melbourne and Queensland during August and September.

The Textile, Clothing and Footwear Resource Centre of Western Australia will hold the “Ask An Expert” events as part of the TCF Australia ‘ONLINE’ Energy Efficiency Training and Mentoring project.

The project was funded through the Federal Government’s  Clean Energy Future package and will also provide online training for 1000 fashion, creative and TCF small businesses.

The forums will allow attendees to develop energy efficiency supply chains, gain insights into textile, clothing and footwear environmental issues, and learn about research trends in sustainable fashion, textiles, apparels and homewares.

The forums will be held in Melbourne at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on 26 August from noon to 2pm, Brisbane, South West Chamber of Commerce, Yeronga on 30 August from 7am to 8.45am, Bribie Island on 3 September from 5pm to 7pm and the Sunshine Coast, Twin Waters on 4 September from noon to 2pm.
