24 July 2013 — Six designs have been shortlisted for the Flinders Street Station Design Competition.

The shortlisted contestants are Ashton Raggatt McDougall (Melbourne), John Wardle Architects + Grimshaw (Australia and UK), HASSELL + Herzog & de Meuron (Melbourne and Switzerland), NH Architecture (Melbourne), Eduardo Velasquez + Manuel Pineda + Santiago Medina (Columbia via University of Melbourne) and Zaha Hadid Architecture & BVN Architecture (UK and Melbourne).

Victorian Premier Denis Napthine said the chosen design would restore and reinvigorate the 4.7 hectare station precinct. The People’s Choice Award runs until 5 August. To vote visit: www.voteflindersst.com.au
