26 June 2012 – CBRE has recruited two senior staffers, Dominic Arcaro and Andrew Iles, from Victorian land development agency Places Victoria, previously known as VicUrban. The two will work in CBRE’s structured transactions and advisory services, which specialises in complex projects for both the public and private sectors.
The team is currently advising and leading transactions for a range of corporations and governments on landmark public/private projects across the Asia Pacific.
CBRE regional director for the team, Wayne Redman said: “Specifically, Dominic and Andrew complement the team’s capability in the structuring and delivery of mixed use projects, particularly complex public-private projects across the major real estate asset classes.
“They bring considerable experience in the public sector approach to urban renewal, affordable housing, project funding and precinct energy infrastructure delivery. ”
CBRE’s senior managing director in Victoria Matt Haddon said the appointments continued the firm’s strategy of broadening the services platform, by recruiting talent with diverse technical skills and capacity to meet more diverse and changing clients’ needs.
The move followed Monday’s announcement that CBRE has also snared Savills NSW managing director head of national capital transactions team Michael Andrews as its senior director leading the international investments team.
