13 March 2013 — The Clean Energy Council of Australia and the American Council On Renewable Energy have partnered to allow leading industry experts and stakeholders to leverage each other’s expertise in creating successful policies, finance mechanisms and market drivers.
Clean Energy Council of Australia chief executive David Green said the move demonstrated both the global significance of the Australian renewable energy industry, and the strategic importance of the relationship between the two countries.
“This agreement to collaborate and share information with our U.S. colleagues is evidence of the CEC’s national leadership in clean energy policy development, and we look forward to the opportunities this partnership will unlock for the clean energy industry in both countries.”
With Baker & McKenzie and the Australian Trade Commission, ACORE is holding a week-long series of leadership roundtables in Australia from 10-16 March, connecting US financiers, developers and manufacturers with key Australian corporations, financiers, politicians and civil society organizations.
