30 October 2012 — Global design and engineering firm Arup has taken out the top prize for internal marketing category at the 2012 Australian Marketing Institute Awards. The award was for the company’s integrated marketing and communications program to support client collaboration.

Arup Australasia marketing and communications head John Clay said over the past 24 months the integrated marketing and communications program had supported Arup’s staff to effectively focus upon client collaboration. “This has enabled Arup to be recognised as a top tier brand within the sector, 20 per cent plus growth and a significant reduction in employee turnover.” The Green Marketing award went to Deloitte’s Green Agenda.
