23 October 2012 — The Australian Green Infrastructure Council is looking for a sustainability professional. Since launching the Infrastructure Sustainability rating tool in February 2012, AGIC has moved into an operational phase, expanding its activities through undertaking project/asset sustainability ratings, training of industry professionals and increasing membership. This has resulted in a need to add to the existing small team of staff. Reporting to the Technical Director and the CEO, the three-day a week role will include case managing project/asset ratings, supporting revision of the IS rating tool, researching, documenting, and communicating credit criteria and compliance requirements, assisting development of IS rating processes, supporting and delivering AGIC training and supporting AGIC technical working groups. AGIC was formed in 2008 by industry professionals from engineering, environmental, planning, legal, and financial and construction backgrounds working in both private and public organisations related to infrastructure.
