19 September 2012 — Frank Mohen has been appointed managing director – Environment Australia New Zealand for AECOM.
Based in Sydney Mr Mohen will guide AECOM’s environment business across a wide range of sectors including defence, mining, oil and gas, property and construction, power and utilities and transport.
“The scope of my role includes identifying growth markets, determining which of our capabilities are required to meet the needs of clients in those growth areas and defining strategies that will provide outstanding outcomes, delivered safely, efficiently and profitably to our clients,” he said.
“Mining and resources will continue to be a major focus for the business, as we grow our services in areas like greenfields, expansion approvals and operations support, upstream and downstream services in oil and gas, and planning and approvals for linear infrastructure.”
Mr Mohen previously led AECOM’s environment team in New South Wales and ACT, and has prior experience managing environmental and engineering businesses, including key functions such as major project delivery, career development and business growth.
His predecessor, Lara Poloni, now leads AECOM’s business operations in Victoria and Tasmania.
